The Academic and Professional Me

I graduated from The University of Tennessee (Go Vols!) with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology. From there, I received a Masters of Science in Community Counseling from Georgia State University along with a Diploma in Christian Counseling from Richmont Graduate University.

I am a ScreamFree Certified Leader in Marriage, Parenting, and Teens and worked as the Director of Leadership Development and a Senior Fellow at The ScreamFree Institute from 2010-2016 and the Director of Learning and Growth from 2017-2018.

From 2019-2021, I was on staff at Grace Fellowship Church, serving on the Adult Ministries Team. I was focused on teaching, speaking, and content development.

I also have experience as a Foster Care Social Worker and Special Education Teacher.
